Hockey: I need help with equipment sanitation?
My pads smell really bad and Ive tried a few things that a bunch of moms who clearly knew nothing told me to do. I tried putting deoderizing balls in my bag and it just made the smell worse.
I have these Things that i put in my gloves that soak up the sweat and that helps a lot, but the damage has already been done.
I have the same thing for my skates and im getting a new pair sometime this weak off of a warranty thing.
My shin pads are what seems to be the worst. I have CCM V06 shin pads and they are fairly new but smell horrible and make me smell bad as well.
So… If you have any advice of what to do for the odor of the equipment (links and such) that would be greatly appreceiated.
Put them out in the sunlight. The effects of the UV rays will help a lot.
