Hockey Goals Nets
Why don’t hockey teams place a sumo goalie in the net?
Why not put one of those 800 lb. sumo wrestlers in from the net?? Are there rules which prohibit this? Just think the guy/women could just plop right down in front of the goal, would not even have to move. Just wondering.

There aren’t any rules against it, but a guy that huge would let in more goals than you think because he would not be able to move quickly enough to stop shots. Keep in mind that good shooters would have no problem picking open spots.
