I'm not sure what the exact differences are but I know that the material on the edge of the shirt is a better material than the material under the jersey top level. The shirt is the edge would be a better option if you plan to actually play hockey, while carrying it, because it will last longer, while the first jersey be the best option unless you plan to use it for how it leads to a hockey game.
