Friday 13 Review: faster and more bad Jason
Yet another remake of a classic film in 80 has been released. This a reboot of Friday the 13th, the famous series that Jason has made 12 films since the original publication in 1980. This, however, deserves to be seen because that some of these murders are brutal and inventive. And with Jason updated, it is faster and meaner. We came to see run and move, unlike representation of the 80s, where he hunted and heavily and managed to catch their victims. It is also a good archer and ax-throwing, causing him an impeccable hunter.
Somehow, I feel that film producers, Michael Bay and his team, which likely seen the show 80, they are unable to bridge in his mind the difference between hunter and prey movements, so he changed the formula and created a little faster, Jason always uglier.
History is more or less the same as 80. However, the first film as a whole, is eliminated in the first segment. The mother Jason was beheaded and later discovered, Jason Young's body in the woods. By adding this segment, the rest of the film is able to focus on Jason as the murderer and not his mother. So in this sense, the latest film is a combination of Friday the 13th 1 and 2.
And on Friday, the film 13, the main elements horror are there. Teenagers camping in the woods. Review. Hot girls showing their breasts. Teens getting high on weed. Review. Slaughter figure authority to be killed. Review. Jason cut with a machete. Review. Jason and his hockey mask. Review. Jason as a killer invincible. Review. Creepy and dark environments. Review.
For better or wrong, other factors are also added this feature, at least two players with a star is Jared Padalecki and Amanda Righetti as the brother-sister duo who apparently survived the nightmare of Jason. In the original films, actors are new and unknown. Even Kevin Bacon died before the first Friday film 13.
I also play with the pot. We know that adolescents are wild and mixing pot ripe for hilarity in the film. But Jason and the pot? In some scenes, you can not stop to think and smile … And if Jason is that marijuana is just defending their forest.
Two things I thought obviously false. First, work on Friday 13 as a date not listed. Jason Mom does not remember saying anything to indicate that Friday 13 is all important.
More importantly, sound strange to "kill kill kill" is not found. More than anything this song defines the series films. Instead, we are thunderous Bangs alarming, but no fear. Perhaps that is how Michael Bay, as his films.
Overall, the new Friday the 13th is worth watching at least once. But if you and your friends are in the mood to see the Friday night 13 in a bore, and I have not seen any of the series for a while, you should see the first two original movies instead. You'll see why being a classic.
