Hockey Skates Bake
why dont my skates give ankle support?

i asked this question before but no good answers, i got a new pair of ccm 01 skates (there new in the u.k i think) and i bought them at a hockey shop and i got the same size as my shoe size (as this is what the guy reccommended) and when i tie the laces my ankles still wobble high up in the skates, ive tried tying them tighter (which hurts more + doesnt help) different lacing techniques (still no support) and nothing seems to work, its just the shape of the skate is weird that it only covers up to just above my sticky out ankle bone, which makes my foot wobble from side to side in them and i cant even stand up in them, please give some help (would baking them fix this)

I had the same problem with my ankles when I got older. I took a pair of high quality work boots, they were a 10 high boot, and my skates to a shoe maker and had them make the skate bottom fit the bottom of the boot.
Back then I paid $50 for the boot and my skates were $75. Then 50 for the shoe maker to fit them to boot. in all they were the best skates I have wore. I also walked alot and add weights to my ankles when I walked this help build muscle.
