Hockey Skates Discontinued
Does anyony know when bauer discontinued Mission Hockey Skates?
bought them last Dec , now find out that bauer has discontinued mission hockey skates . Wondering does anyone know when they discontinued carrying them
Beginning May 1, 2009 Bauer had to cease using the Mission trademark under the terms of Nike’s sale of Bauer.
As to the previous answer….the Mission skates sold extremely well and were more economical to make than the Supreme’s or Vapors (due to Nike’s better manufacturing efficiency).
Since Nike has gotten out of the hockey business for now, it may be a while before we see the Mission name again
