Hockey Skates Guide
anyone who plays hockey, should i try hockey?
im a girl, im 15, prety much a girly tomboy,like i can get all dressed up and i love makeup but sports and being with my guy friends is my life) im ultra competitive and i love hockey, ive never played, but i really want to and im currious if it would be worth convincing my parents to let me try. and i was looking in the program guides for one of the park districts that i live by and they have a hockey camp thing, its 1hr, from 9/9-11/18 like every sunday. its $209 dolars or $25 per drop in session, i would need to get one of my boys that play to go with me to get skates and pads and a stick and a helmet and stuff, but do any of you think it would be worth it. cost wise is also something i have to keep in mind because i am the one who is going to have to help pay for it (i babysit but i make a decient amount) soo any ideas???
200$ is a good deal for a hockey camp. however equipment alone will probably run you about 300-400$. see if you could borrow equipment from someone the first few times to make sure its something you want to commit to. although you might have difficulty borrowing equipment that fits since you are a girl and probably smaller than the guys.
