Hockey Skates Ice
What Ice Hockey Skates do you recommend?
I’m getting back into skating now. I used to have Bauer 3000 Supreme and thought they were a bit heavy. Any advice on what good Ice Hockey Skates I should switch to? I think I want something used by forwards and something that is less than $100. Thanks!
You can get cheap skates at used sports equipment stores like play it again sports and recycled sports. Look for a pair with little wear and tear and they will last you a long time.
Otherwise check out the weekly flyers at your local sports store and wait for a deal. Pick up a pair of skates that is light, durable, has a reinforced toe (to protect from other skates cutting it up), and also look for a stiff back (the part that goes from the heel up the leg) if this is flimsy some energy is lost in your stride.
