im playing ice hockey goalie for the first time this year. ive played inline hockey goalie for 2 years. i know there are special goalie skates but i dont want to spend the money. will player skates be fine?? thanks in advance!!!!!!!!

Player skates will work, until you get hit with a puck on your toes or instep! You’ll want a pair of Goalie skates then!
I would suggest you look for used skates, Play it Again Sports, Kijiji, Craigslist, or a lot of rinks have equipment exchange programs. If you are just 14 you will grow out of them regularly, then you can trade them in for credit on another pair.
