Hockey Skates Wide
which hockey skates for a beginner with wide feet?
ok.. im getting my first pair of hockey skates. they dont have to be great because im just learning. My goal is to learn and play hockey around november. Which skate can i get that any good but not really expensive.( if any). Im not against getting another pair of skates if need be in november. I just want something thats gonna do the job and be comfortable. i was looking at the Easton s7’s. any thoughts? any other opinions would be greatly appreciated. thanks for the help!!!
Easton 7s are a good choice. Note that RBK and Graf do make some of the model skates in 3 widths (if width is an issue, it is w/ me).
But I would strongly advise you against buying too wide a hockey skate. If it is a bit narrow, there are ways to stretch the boot to make it fit snug into your foot. If the boot is too wide, you are stuck with them and there is no way to narrow them. Whatever skate you choose, it is mandatory to try them on first to make sure the skate is the right fit for you.
