Ice Hockey Goals Goalie
Played ice hockey a small time at when I was 8, not played since, wish to start goalkeeping at 15, any chance?
Played a bit before, I know how to skate well as I still do it plenty. I never really had the goalie pads on, just played defense before, for quite a short time. I do play goalkeeper in soccer, and whenever me and the fellas go out for Roller Hockey with just knee pads and all, I’m quite an asset in goal. Have my reflexes and really can respond to moving objects well, but do I have a chance to get to a high school level with hockey now? I am a freshman as of this time.
You could do it. I was 12 the first time I ever played ice hockey and strapped on the pads. You can definitely do it if you put your mind to it. However the first couple of games may be a rude awakening. (I know mine were) Good Luck!
