So I played hockey outdoors for a while, and I never had a problem finding team, but I am very frustrated because I just joined a club for a winter game and it seems none of my team is good! The two things I care about are my gloves and my stick. My staff G121 is a division of fiberglass, shown here http://www.360athletics.com/field-hockey-sticks-balls-FSB_G121.html. And the glove is a plain outdoor all weather glove. The club has stated explicitly that sticks in and the gloves must be purchased. This is what I have to work, or I'll break the pace to try to tackle this new material?
Probably need a stick and gloves inside. you need a stick inside cover, because it requires different skills the field hockey sticks in the open air are done differently, so it can better fulfill these responsibilities. The gloves are more important stick. Gloves to protect fingers from being injured by a ball coming towards them. People who do not use gloves have fingers very often broken and evidently this is not good. You really need a glove to his left hand, but most people on both hands.
