Mission Hockey Skates Fuel
New Mission hockey skates?
I have been wearing mission skates for the past 8 years and I really like them. Is Bauer going to come out with a line of Mission fuel-like skates? I see on hockeymonkey.com that there is a Mission NME line but they just look like the supremes just with a different design and Mission logo. So basically what I want to know is if bauer is going to come out with a new line (other than the supremes and vapors). If not which one of these two lines is more similar to the Fuel line, or are neither close to being similar.
Why did Bauer buy Mission-Itech anyway. To me it doesn’t seem like they would gain much except in the facial protection market. Thats just a side question though.
Bauer is not coming out with any skates in a Mission style boot. The ice skate line from mission was completely pulled apart when Bauer took over. The NME is a roller-hockey boot, and Bauer just put an ice chassie on the boot. Bauer will not be coming out with any new lines and neither of the Supreme or Vapor series skates are similar in any way to the Missions. Bauer does have a line called the Flexlite series that is the most similar boot to the Fuels that you are going to find. Bauer bought Mission because of their line of roller-hockey Equipment.
