Roller Hockey Skates Goalie
Difference between Dek/Roller Hockey and Ice Hockey Goalie Pads?
I currently play Dek (roller without skates), and I play goalie. Currently I’m using very old pads that could be either Ice or Dek/Roller, i really don’t know. So I was just wondering, is there a significant difference between Ice and Dek/Roller pads for a goalie? Thanks.
Roller hockey pads are lighter and made of lesser materials. Ice pads are heavier to accept the speed of the puck. Do not use roller for ice, it’s ok to use ice for roller.
