Roller Hockey Skates Senior
Quality Roller-Hockey skates?
I’m looking to purchase a pair of blades for Roller Hockey (senior) and wanted to see if anybody had any suggestions for a decent, durable and comfy brand/model. Appreciate any replies. Thanks
Mission are the best hockey blades in my opinion. I played inline for about 10 years and my Missions were always my favorite. If you have the cash, get the fitted boot. It’s really awesome, they heat up gel on your feet and make sure the boot is perfect for you just like hockey skates.
Biggest thing to ensure is that you get the right wheels too. If you’re going to be playing outdoors like on the street or in a lacrosse box for example, get harder wheels. Most good hockey skates come with indoor, very soft grippy wheels standard. You want these for indoor hockey because the surface is very smooth and slippery otherwise. But if you’re playing outdoors, you’ll utterly destroy soft wheels.
Yep, just make sure the boot isn’t too big, give Mission a shot as they know what’s up! You’re best to go to a hockey shop if you can find one, they’ll give you the real professional help you want to get the most bang for your buck.
