Street Hockey Skates Mission
can you use inline hockey skates for Street Hockey?
planning on getting a pair of mission, or bauer Roller Hockey skates. I just wanted to make sure that they will work fine on pavement. It seems like they are just for like wood or something inside, but me and some friends just want to play some hockey on the street. will they work?
Yep, a lot of times roller hockey skates come with soft wheels (78A) but you can replace them with something harder (84A) if you are playing on the street. Just make sure you get the right size. Missions, for example, can be tricky because they use a HiLo chassis which can mean >– 76-76-80-80 –>
Note: Soft wheels will still “work” on the pavement, they will just wear down much faster.
