Street Hockey Skates
Collection of Street Hockey team?

So me and some friends decided to start collecting games have street hockey spring. My question is: what do I need to get / my friends to get started? (types of sticks skates / / bullets / Etc and cost estimates, I am more confused on the skids, its been a while since I bought a couple), we could play Roller Hockey in the pavement

I'm glad you asked. The same happened to me and exploded since April 2009. First, the pads. I strongly suggest to recover a pair of Hi-Lo. What I mean is that the media are the two larger wheels than the wheels on the outside. (eg 72mm wheels are on wheels outside and 80mm for wheels inside. If you want to do both, I would buy a pair of Nike Bauer Skates brand or mission. If this is not a big concern, do not hesitate to go with a brand like K2, Chicago, etc. They provide support for just over ankle, but not too close to the simulation of ordinary (ICE) hockey. In addition, if the pads are not super important, I would focus more information about the "rating" wheels. All this depends on the surface you play. For a friction surface, with much less (that is, the surface of several trials, masonite or something similar) I would choose something around a 74 or 76A, something closer to the asphalt, We recommend using a "side to 80 +. A good place to look to play (if you have not already found one) could be a tennis court (I used both 76 and 78A and worked very well). Balls! There are 3 major types balls to play with the weather (cold, hot and cold). This can be very important to limit the rebound of the ball (you do not want to play with a tennis ball or something similar when playing street hockey). Also might want to consult a balloon filled with water or gel to further limit the amount of some excellent information bounce. There the choice of a schoolyardpuck.com dance (look at the links below). If the surface is smooth enough, I would strongly suggest to use a hockey puck in Street. There are many different varieties, but I find work best are somewhat similar to the "Franklin NHL Pro Commander. Sticks. I agree with what the other says. The ABS is recommended to use the stick or a plastic sheet. Wood and composite sticks are a bit faster (more Woodys compounds) and the amount of wear may increase significantly depending on the surface, to be played (eg asphalt, cons masonite) and also the "lie" wood sheets. For a better definition of lying, again what the website below (and more). Personally, I grew up playing with the leaves eventually become ABS aluminum trees with blades of wood (I played with a graphite shaft and compound leaf). I also suggest playing at least gloves and shin guards. Gloves will cost between $ 30 or more and shinguards are generally the same. You can always visit the 2nd hand stores or local classified (eg craigslist.org) for better deals. Of course, you do not have to play with them is a mere suggestion. A group of boys playing with sticks and skates were. In addition, you may consider using elbow pads or helmets, different people to play and their skill level. My suggestion is to start simple, you pretty boys or girls to play, everyone has a stick and skates, you can buy a ball of warm weather (it's probably what you use most), and then you can get it more popular. Shoot me an e-mail if you have questions or need more ideas on how it all began / promotion. As I have said what happened in April. I started to play with about 6 children (we now have about 25) in my area now and roller hockey is now a team sport at a college where I am registered. Good Luck
