How long does it take for a quad tendon to heal after surgery? And how long will I have to have rehab for?

So in a hockey game this guy accidentally cut my knee with a skate and cut half way through the quad tendon and i had to get surgery. I really want to get back on the ice again but i dont know how long exactly

oh f ck! you could have bled out in 15 seconds. if they were able to repair it, just take it easy for a while, slowly testing it. youll know when youve gone too far. if not at the time, then later that night. hopefully youll fully recover.
