Hockey Skates Figure Skates
If you know how to figure skate well, will using hockey skates be easy?
Your gonna find hockey skates harder to use. You’ll notice the rocker is a different size, there’s no toe pick, and the hollow is smaller(the blade is thinner). A good hocker player would find figure skates hard to use. It’s like food. Someone who was raised in America eating McDonald’s all day long goes over to England and tries their food, they will most likely find it disgusting. Someone from England comes over to America and tries their food, they would probably find it disgusting. People get used to something and learn how to use it. When something different comes along it makes them uncomfortable more difficult. You might like hockey skates but most likely you’ll find them difficult to use. I used to rollerblade all the time and after figure skating for awhile i came back to rollerblading and couldn’t even glide on one foot. Sorry for such a long answer, just trying to get a point across =)
