Vaughn Hockey Pads
For a goaltender in hockey should get a guardian of the thigh?
I am looking for SLW Vaughn pads. I had a history of being beat knee. I can go without them?
Its all personal preference. Vaughn is known for "softer" cushion especally on your keyboard population. I remember last year, Steve Mason was shot in the knee and said something along the lines of the platform is too soft. Personally, I do not like to wear something on my knee when I play, so to get more space from the thigh to be touched i dont. But if the holder does not seek the usual mass of a leg rather then 2 (I think) that came with it should go. You may need to adjust the throttle bit, but I think that all goalies do when they have the new pads to see what works best.
